Life after the storm

“See, I am making all things new.” (Revelation 21:5)

Some fallen trees on the church property have new life.

One tree fell flat years ago, and managed to extend this one branch along the ground and then out into the sunshine.

Another tree has died, but wild grapes and tall grasses are climbing its branches.  Sometimes you can see where deer bedded down for the night right next to the dead tree. The dog loves to get a nose full of that deer scent.

Even after a storm that brings a tree down, there is a possibility of new life.  Nature’s perseverance is an example of God’s perseverance in sustaining creation and creatures.
