Food Donations for Local Students

Several efforts are underway to help local students who depend on school meals for their daily sustenance.

Our Mission Committee is working with New Hope Elementary School to provide canned soup and spaghetti sauce.  The school has found some commercial sources of other food donations, so we are just being asked for canned soup and spaghetti sauce.

Drop off cans and jars in the plastic tub on the lower level portico (in other words, the doors that lead out from the new fellowship hall to the playground.)  Mission Committee volunteers will get the food to the school.

Orange County has several pick-up sites for families needing a school meal.  More information can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aTUcGgWmcu9sn30m_38XHKFQa_OHsmww4qDImIq1BDw/edit?ts=5e6e9274#

Also, anyone can go to k12paymentcenter.com and make a donation.  The K12 Payment Center website is normally used by families to pay for meals (paying with cash is getting to be a thing of the past!)

Thank you for your loving support of our community.

NHPC Treasurers say thank you!

Thank you for your generous continuing support of our church and its ministries during these trying times. We are very grateful for the donations sent in March by mail, through our online giving program, and through donations of stock or donor advised funds.

If you are in the habit of giving your offering at the beginning of the month, please know our office is open as usual during April. You may mail a check to us, have your financial institution mail a check (many banks have a “Bill Pay” feature), or use our online giving platform at newhopepresusa.org/giving.

Finally, a special note to those giving through a donor advised fund or investment firm: please let us know which firm is sending us money, so we can properly credit your giving.

Again, we are grateful to you for your support!

in Christ, your NHPC treasurers
