Mission

Members of the New Hope congregation are busy every week in worship services, fellowship activities, programs for teens and pre-teens, maintenance of the church and its grounds, Camp New Hope, community involvement and much more.

By working together, each of us gains the opportunity to use our skills and talents in ways that brighten the lives of others while demonstrating our faith in God’s goodness. New Hope’s programs often mix the practical and the spiritual together to enrich the lives of those who participate. What is practical becomes spiritual, and what is spiritual becomes practical.

Here on Earth, God’s work must truly be our own.

Information on Summer Migrant Farmworker Support project

With changes in summer schedules, the Meals on Wheels program is experiencing a shortage in drivers. Delivering meals is easy and rewarding. It takes a little over and hour usually delivering hot meals to 5-7 households. For many, this is the only nutritious meal they have each day. Below is Emily’s recent email:

We need an additional 12 volunteers to cover all the routes just for those first 2 weeks.  If you see an opening you can fill, please let me know. The second half of the month looks just as daunting, but we will worry about that part later.  We will focus on the immediate need at this point. Thank you everyone for all that you do for Meals on Wheels.

If you can help, please call at OCIM (919) 73206194 (option 14) or email them
