The New Hope Camp and Conference Center logo
New Hope Presbyterian Church purchased the camp from New Hope and Salem Presbyteries in 2003, enabling the church to continue a camping tradition that began in 1947. Today, the camp is operated as a non-profit facility and is governed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from New Hope Presbyterian Church and five other Presbyterian churches. At New Hope Camp and Conference Center we host many diverse groups of all ages for summer camp, afterschool programs, and retreat groups.
Our summer camp program is an opportunity for children to enjoy what New Hope Camp and Conference Center has to offer. Campers hike on the many nature trails on the property, have the chance to make pottery, swim in our Olympic sized swimming pool, canoe in our freshwater lake, have the opportunity to create artwork by weaving or woodworking, and run around in the fresh air playing sports activities. Campers can receive swim lessons with our Red Cross-trained Water Safety Instructor, in addition to swim time for practice and play. Archery classes are available for our rising 3rd and 4th graders.
Our afterschool programs are a wonderful addition to the variety of services we offer. We are open for Early Release Days, Intersessions, and Teacher Workdays. The afterschool program is a unique experience for children with the focus on outdoor play. Staff will also provide hands on help with homework and yummy nutritious after school snacks. During Teacher Workdays and Intersession Camps there are a variety of activities planned that include exploring nature, building rafts, making hot air balloons, and exploding volcanoes.
As a Conference Center we have facilities to accommodate a wide variety of events. Whether you are looking for a place to hold your wedding, family reunion, or your organizations next conference – we have what you are looking for. Lodges, cabins, and guesthouses can accommodate more than 150 visitors for overnight stays, and daytime events can include 300 or more. Catering for 35 or more is available.
